NEXT YEAR!!!!!

Postby 2112 » Tue Nov 02, 2004 11:13 am

All of the guy's that are being redshirted will be available, and the team will have another great off season of lifting weights. Not to mention the team will be a year older, and more experienced. We should be improved and win 3 or 4 games next year!!!! Now that's what we all want RIGHT??? Then we will be happy!!!.........RIGHT?????

All the weight lifting won't help. Coaches put the players in a position to win with gameplanning and breaking down the other team. Our coaches have shown that they can't do that. We took a risk on an assistant and missed out. If we want to pretend we're a football school then let's shell out some $$$ and buy Bennet out and take a risk on another coach.....

We had over 350 yards of offense against Fresno. We would have had more and probably some points without the turnovers which stopped those drives dead in their tracks. Fresno got 21 points off of three of those turnovers. Defensive problems are not always a matter of not being in the right position, but trying to make arm tackles because they over run the play and due to not being able to pressure the QB. The coaches make some mistakes out there no doubt, but so do the players. Some are learning curve mistakes and some are just bad judgement mistakes. Same problem the Cowboys are having and evidently the Dolphins too. Both of those teams have very good coaches, but they are having problems all the same...it happens.

How many of those yards came in "garbage time" which was pretty much the last 3 quarters of the game? It is not a good sign when for the year, a teams leading rusher is the #2 QB and he doesn't even have 300 yards for the season. This has been the worst offense since football came back from the DP.

yeah please spare me the passing statistics in a 42-0 game in which we now have what a -19 turnover margin. Passing stats are the most unreliable stats to correlate to winning as Mike Romo proved. Take off about 60 yards for every turnover and subtract the sacks and you might be closer to the truth.
