The announcers last night talked about UCFs schedule last week and it does justify a poor performance. First, on Saturday they suffer a bad defeat to us. They get on a plane for a long flight back to Florida. They rest and recover on Sunday. Practice Monday and Tuesday and then Wednesday is another travel day. So they had 2 days of practice sandwiched with plane filghts, after losing their "Super Bowl". I do not blame them for not being sharp.

agreed. but, I think they still could have won if they either started Bortles? (backup qb), or inserted him much earlier. I think, the orlando sentinel reported that O'Leary suggested that.
AD or coach wasn't paying attention when they scheduled the games or tv times, I guess.

Going from two one-win seasons to three bowl games in a row, don't care where we go. If JJ can swing Hawaii, so be it, will be the last time we play a bowl there for a long time with a move to the BE. Liberty Bowl takes #1 in CUSA, so that is where we should want to be, chance to make a statement against the SEC.

But still great to go from complete failure to making waves and expecting to be in a bowl so quickly.

So if we take the average projections vs the average actual performances of our team. Our D holds teams to 4 less than CFN predicts and our O scores .5 more than CFN predicts, so we win by half a point.

Aside from CFN predicting that we beat TTU in 2007, I'd say they are pretty close with their projections.
