A top 25 ranking would be so sweet! After WV's beat down by 'Cuse last night, there should be an opening in the top 25 for us!

Seems like there's quite a few Top 25 spots that could be up for the taking today:

25. Washington at Stanford
23. Illinois currently losing at Purdue 21-0
22. Georgia Tech at Miami (FL)
21. Penn St at Northwestern
20. Auburn at LSU

I would say that all 5 of those are legitimately in trouble today. Of course, so are we...

With all the suspensions at LSU, Auburn may have a chance, albeit a slim one. And many of the radio commentators including the beloved Trevor Matich were saying that there would be no top 25 BE teams in the next poll.

As of right now if we win today and Washington loses we are in. Also it will certainly help if T A and M wins as well.

Are you speculating or do you have a formula. I'm trying really hard to root for the Aggies but it is difficult. When they showed the yell practice in pregame I almost became a Cyclones fan.
