This was posted yesterday where it was pointed out that with the 27 month wait to transfer in the BE that it would be difficult for WVA or Louisville to leave immediately to fill their needs.

Come on Big 12, add BYU, SMU and West Virginia. Forget Louisville. Better yet, forget WVU too and take Houston. I can't believe SMU does not have enough clout and political influence in this state to get invited ahead of Louisville. Cmon Gerry Ford, twist some arms. One more crossover game for the North in Texas as opposed to Kentucky.

South: Texas, Texas Tech, Baylor, TCU, SMU, BYU
North: Oklahoma, Ok State, Kansas State, Kansas, West Virginia, Iowa St

maybe. if their academics are palatable to UT. BYU might have something to say too. Once again, if our power alums can't outmaneuver Houston's in this state, then SMU isn't the institution i thought it was. Might as well shoot high until the door is completely closed and pull out all the stops. Once they go to 12, the door may be closed forever.
