They had great success blitzing 2 guys through the same hole with a slight delay. Line would lock on to the first rusher and the 2d would come through untouched. Why did it work for them and not us and/or I did not see us use this scheme.

And we are supposed to be a team deserving to be in a BCS conference. We will get there, but this game shows us how far we still have to go.
Everyone should realize that we still have a long way to go. No one expected us to be 5-1 at this point. We are fine. Now we have some fire under our asses to improve. I'm let down but proud of our boys for having such a great season on the whole so far...
I agree to a point. Our record is OK, and we still have a chance to compete for CUSA (though not likely to beat Houston). The problem is that this team just fails to take that next step. We have no answer at QB after four years in the run and shoot. We complain about the attendance, but then crap the bed when everyone is watching. Nothing changes.

Um considering the way he's handled our QB situation thus far it's pretty safe to say he's [deleted] nuts.

They'll take the next step when the talent takes the next step

if the O-line gave JJMcD the time that the USM qb had, we would have performed much better.

How can you even comment on Preston when he has never played. I think he will be simply great in this offense because he will run when in trouble and that element will totally change how a defense must play and hold their positions.
