JJ will be f'ing nuts if he relies solely on Padron and Preston next season

Who do you want?

I want someone to compete against Padron who is currently not on this roster. You rely on Padron and a freshman and we have a repeat of today.

I think we are lucky to be 5-2 with McD...simply don't understand why it took 5 years to get Printz

This game could have even been a much worse loss without the 2 MSU turnovers in the red zone in the first half. This is not the end of the season; however, much work on improvement is required to generate any legitimacy.

For the Record,

This 'Game' does not deserve a 100 page count, so keep your comments brief

Official SMU-USM game thread and Dyslexia Bowl

Post by S....M....U »

Everyone should realize that we still have a long way to go. No one expected us to be 5-1 at this point. We are fine. Now we have some fire under our asses to improve. I'm let down but proud of our boys for having such a great season on the whole so far...
I agree to a point. Our record is OK, and we still have a chance to compete for CUSA (though not likely to beat Houston). The problem is that this team just fails to take that next step. We have no answer at QB after four years in the run and shoot. We complain about the attendance, but then crap the bed when everyone is watching. Nothing changes.
We didn't expect to beat ucf or tcu at the beginning of this season...and our record is just ok?

I'm not sure if you realize this, but we have the toughest cusa schedule this year. Tougher than any I have ever seen for any other team in cusa. Making the cusa championship is and never was going to be easy. If you thought we would be undefeated in conference play this year, you are a fool. June recognizes that and has made it clear to his team and the fans.

Our qb is fine. He had a miserable game because their d line showed up to play and our o line didn't. Any football player or fan should realize that.

I'm sick of people coming down on the team in situations like this. We're fans...stick by them and they will improve. Teams lose...it happens. Deal with it.

I'm done with my rant.

Funny you say that. Towards the end of the game I thought I was watching my Huskies play. Had the same frustrated and sick feeling.
