What was the matter with our O Line against USM

They were moving early and getting penalties for it quite a bit. Were the USM players yelling out signals illegally but not getting called for it or something?

USM had good athletes and they were quick; that, together with the fact they actually had a vocal crowd supporting them...just threw our guys off. Learn from it and move on. Houston will be loud, too. Tulsa might be loud next week, but they don't have the horses USM does

I won't be able to go to the Luncheon but I hope someone asks Coach Jones if USM was yelling out snap counts. I know he was saying the Tulsa did that 2 years ago when we went to Tulsa. Refs are suppose to call that penalty.

They did it at Ford Stadium earlier this year as well...why are we continually getting called for this crap and why aren't there safeguards to prevent this? C',mon this is a SENIOR OL after all....with the most starts in the NCAA D-1 as well...

I just know that it is a penalty on the defense if the defense yells out a snap count.

Not the first time the defense has messed with our snap counts and not gotten called. You could see our guys talking to the ref and I assumed that was what it was about. You could also see Bryce turning around and talking to JJ right before s couple of snap which concerned me because it did not put him in a good place to call the defense.
