It is very hard to read what others think about us on Dallasnews.com. I am extremely saddened by the state of this program and the response Dallas has to it. We were created by Dallas and now we are being destroyed by Dallas. Nothing good will happen until Dallas is on our side.

it really is an interesting read although some of the 20 year old bitterness toward SMU by alumni of former rivals really is pointless. Otherwise, I think it accurately reflects the general attitude about the SMU program among the general public by both active fans and fans who became disillusioned years ago. Basically it is an embarrassment and either fix the problem now or drop out of Division 1A.
