Big 12 should just take all 6 remaining Big East teams. It would solve both conference's problems.

this is no surprise. Tx and OU don't want a conf champ game. they also don't want to split revenue between 12 teams.

and they don't want to wait the 27 months. Wonder if they can work out some agreement with the big east to let WVU out early if Big 12 doesn't poach any more teams for X number of years.

I'm not up to speed on everything USF related. I understand no one seems to consider them as part of any expansion plans, but why wouldn't the B12 look at them? Big school, big TV market, and would strike back at the SEC. Plus open more recruiting doors in a very fertile state.

Other than the fact it is in Florida, I'm not exactly sure how obtaining USF would strike back at the SEC. They were there for the taking if the SEC had wanted them before. Only way the big 12 could do anything to impact the SEC would be to take Arkansas away, and no way that happens.

Well Florida is SEC country, granted they share it with ACC. Just wondering why no one seems to want USF? Again, I'm not very familiar with them outside they were pretty darn good a couple of years ago. Seems like they would have more potential than WV or Louisville in the long run.

I don't know much about USF other than it is another big commuter school in Tampa. They play in the Buccaneers stadium of campus, much like we used to do in Cowboys, or Tulane does now in Saints. Relatively new program much like UCF is.

Best result for SMU is the Big 12 takes BYU and leaves the Big East alone. Then we can talk about the football GAMES they play on the field rather than in cloakrooms or airports.
