Nope.

Up to now their biggest game was against UCLA who looks mediocre at best.

Win vs. LA Lafyette on last play of game.

Otherwise only game to help their SOS is us.

Conference championship would help if it is USM and they end up with no more losses, but that is by no means guaranteed as they already lost to Marshall. So factoring in a big boost from the conference championship game is by no means a given.

Houston wins out and they would play either the BE champ or Boise...but I do think they would be ranked in top 12 and get in

Does just being in the Top 12 get them in if another AQ is in the Top 12 (Boise State) and ranked higher than them? If the only shot they have is getting an at-large then there's no way they get in.

It's hard to tell how good Houston is (or isn't). They have only played one team with a winning record (UTEP 4-3). Their opponents so far are 21-30. Three of their wins were by single digits. I would have to think that they have the easiest schedule of any ranked team.

Their offense is legit, their defense is horrendous. If we had their schedule we'd be undefeated too.

Agree. The Coogs D has given up a lot of points to some bad teams. We just have to out score them. I don't know if our defense can stop them, hopefully slow them down. I mean no disrespect to SMU defense, UH offense is just that good.
