Why wouldn't Notre Dame just go with the basketball schools?

ND and UT seem to be on speed dial with one another these days...they are building quite a relationship. But I just don't see ND breaking away from the BB-only Catholics. Just like BYU, there are "other" concerns aside from simply making more $.

But, the B12 has approached ND in the past about parking their non-football sports in B12. They probably look at it as a first step toward ultimately adding ND football to B12 if at some point independence no longer makes sense. It is a smart move for B12, but I don't think it happens.

Im telling you, I know some very influential ND alums, they are not going to big 12 in any sport and will laugh in your face if you suggest it....

When I asked one of the guys I know, mil $ per year booster about the ACC for football..he laughed in my face...

Now...could something drastic force the issue....possibly, but these guys arent leaving the midwest area to go play with the shtibag schools in the big 12...

All this realignment is similar to those books.

Wait, wait, what?! Game of Thrones came from books?! This, to me, is way more shocking than ND to B12 talk. Really? They were books? Who reads books?

Didn't he turn that job down a couple years back?

If WVU replaces Missouri, does this mean burning couches replace the Aggie bonfire for the Texas game?

By the way, I hear that should the Big East lose basketball members, Xavier and Butler are looked at as replacements.
