After watching the coverage of the GWB rally at Moody...

It really got me thinking how nice it would be if we had the same setup, same enthusiastic crowd, same #s w/ Coach Tubbs as the keynote speaker at a "Mustangs are going to the Final Four" pep rally.

Replace Toby Keith w/ Dickie V!

Pipe dream? Man I hope not.

Wayyy to go Babeeee. He still is better than Marv (Dracula) Albert. When he was accused of sexually assaulting that woman, they took a DNA sample, it came back "bad rug".

I dropped off several friends to the rally and they said that the "balcony" levels (I think they meant the upper levels) were roped off and no one was allowed to sit there. Was that true? Why? Security? or safety?

I'm not sure about the reason, Mexmustang, but it's true...the upper sections were roped off.

Yeah, it looked like the top 5 rows or so all the around were roped off. I assume this was for safety purposes, as I saw several 'men in black' gliding back and forth in those rows. It probably gave them ease of access to move to any point of the coliseum and have an angle looking down on Bush. Keep in mind this was the TOP top portion of moody, maybe several hundred seats, but that place was still PACKED and loud as hell when things got going.

They were turning people with tickets away at the door more than an hour before Bush got there. I don't know if it was the Secret Service making that call or the Fire Marshall, but Moody was definitely packed.
