What a load of crap. Play two playoff games just to get to a BCS bowl? The idea is nothing more than a load of horsesh*t that further widens the gap between the cartel and a larger non-cartel.

I suspect it's DOA; if it isn't, I sure hope it becomes that rather quickly.

Let's do it. But we need to bring in all other non-AQs. Then let's simply declare we are too good for this BCS stuff and start our own college football league and play for a national championship. We could be the king of the ant hill.

It's the next best thing if the Big East can't stand on its own -- and may in fact ultimately be forced if the big conference schools can't hoist their 64 team big school vision on the college football world.

Ultimate conspiracy theory: Neinas borkers MWC/CUSA merger and becomes interim Big 12 commish. Helps destroy Big East by adding TCU & WVU. Bannowski engineers MWC/CUSA/Big East merger requiring two playoff games just to *maybe* play one game in the cartel. Bannowski takes over as Big 12 AD once Neinas retires, getting in to the club. NCAA approves addition 2K in funds for student atheletes further widening gap between BCS/Non BCS

Kill Big East
Minimize access for CUSA/MWC
WAC is effectively destroyed
Promote CUSA commish to Big 12 commish.
Further gap through allowing more funds for football players

Big East Commish looks like he frequents the all you can eat buffet at Golden Corral. Also heard he likes their new chocolate fountain.

Tell me that's not the most disgusting thing ever. A chocolate fountain at Golden Corral? So I can drizzle chocolate that 800 people and kids have stuck their hand under because they couldn't resist right after they visited the rest room without washing their hands. I throw up in my mouth every time I see that commercial.
