Bennett Hire ?

Not trying to be critical, but can someone help me out with who Bennett got the job over? I recall the following

Denardo - Interview, did not get hired
Jimbo Fisher - Interview, did not get hired
Walters - Interview, never seemed to be a serious contender
VA Tech OC - Interview, did not get hired
Skip Holtz - Interview, then withdrew
Gotlieb - Interview, then withdrew.
Norm Chow - declined interview
Chuck Long - declined interview
Craig T. Nelson - despite making the move from HS head coach in Pittsburg, to Cal Ploy, to Minnesota State, he never even got a call. I still think Craig T Nelson would have doubled Rashaun Woods after the 3rd TD....even coach from Cheers would have doubled him after the 4th touchdown
