Oklahoma Confused

The Big 12 is a complete circus. This article is about the conference TV network.

"If recent developments in the Big 12 have shown anything, it’s that the conference-which has had its membership in flux for the past year and a half- still seems to be in a state of confusion."
When will I start feeling stimulated??

Forget conferences. A few big boys will have their own independent network and schedule cream puffs like us to fill in their fall lineup.

Maybe the Big X+II keeps its conference because o f its conference network.

MAYBE.. it was the Big Ten that started all this network stuff. I tend to refer to it as the Big 2 plus 10 though. Nebraska and Penn State are nothing to sneeze at but PSU has only been to 2 Rose Bowls since joining almost 20 years back. Nebraska came in talking a lot of trash and promptly got throttled at Camp Randle. ohio is a wreck and Michigan looks strikingly like Purdue right now but the B1G is all in all a great marketing scheme. Has been for years. BTW Michigan is 27-7 and 1 vs the SEC, the rest of the league... not so good. However USC seems to be able to hammer us at will in Pasadena.

The Big Ten is also a pretty dang good hoops league though, and thats how BTN got started. I mean Michigan State and Indiana are both enormous TV hoops draws. those two are easily the Michigan and Notre Dame of Midwest college roundball, relative to football that is.

SMU is way on the up See y'all in a bowl game some time. And hopefully the Stangs make no ill decisions on the way.
Go Slippery Rock!!!
