Is there any way we can arrange to have Dickerson make disparaging comments about our program every week?

I just hope we can keep up this intensity for the second half. 24-7 looks like a comfortable lead, until you realize we have a propensity for giving up big plays in threes. And that's all they need. Let's go mustang keep it up!!!

Tulsa's kickoff return reminds you how quickly things can turn. We are still a very fragile team that hasn't learned how to finish games. Thos one is going to be a nail biter! 27-14 and Tulsa threatening to score again.

Tulsa scores to make it 27-21 only half way through the 3rd quarter. If we are going to hold on and win, we need to respond right away.

NCAA record kick return for TD (one). Coleman 55 reception (two). Come on SMU!

29-24 Mustangs in the 4th. It is officially time for our boys to reach down between their legs and see what they got. CP's prophecy about a this being a barnburner has come to fruition. It is time to produce, and show some character. Let's go!!

How big was that score? Why go for 2?

O.P. I'm still scratching my head wiondering what in the world is going through Bennett's mind to go for 2? Now they can send this to OT with a FG and TD w/2 pt conversion. Just kick the point and make them score 2 TDs to beat you...and know that another FG bu SMU might put the game out of reach! Tulsa then has to convert a 2 pointer just to tie. I don't get it. That's the kind of move that could cost bennett his job. Now we really need to score again.

CP- I'm not sure after that bonehead call that Bennett does "know more about football than anyone in the room". Now TU is a TD and a 2 pointer away from tying.

huge play by Desmond to potentially save the day. Now the offensive line needs to get an attitude and say we are going to drive it down their throats and put this game away.

So much for that idea. Three and out again!!!

It's time for the D to stand up now. Series for the game.

Well, so much for the D standing up.

Going into this game we were statistically the worst scoring offensive team in all of D1-A. We should have kicked the extra point.

Bennet is trying his best to cost us this game...between the 1st half penalty (emotional error) and then the brain dead call to go for 2 pts with an 11 pt lead. Unbelieveable. And I've defended him but now I have to wonder. let's see if the guys can pull it out despite their bonehead coach!!!

I try not to coach bash because who am I to criticize, but now with three TOs we let 16 seconds run off the clock before calling a TO when we face a critical 3rd down and still need to move about 35-40 yds to have a chance to win in regulation. POOR CLOCK MANAGEMENT.

CP,

This is as emotional as I have ever heard you. You might want to use the edit feature later tonight.
