A Mustang Club member outside of Dallas sent me his 8 tickets for next week's game in the mail this weekend. He also included four stubs redeemable for 4 general admission tickets each, too! I'll be using five 'reserved seat' tickets for me and my family. I've got to find 19 other people to bring to the game or encourage to use these 'freebies'!!!! Hope other Mustang faithful will do the same! The attendance this weekend was not good...especially for Homecoming! Let's fill the stands for the SMU victory over Nevada!!!!

Special note to Mustangs35SMU: Hope your Lobos beat North Garland, too! (edited from original post)

Back to the original thread: you bet I'll be there - and bring 5 others.

This is a game for all PonyFans to .... well .... Pony Up. BRING PEOPLE who never have been to an SMU game. It's the last home game of the year, and we don't have the "extra" draw of something like homecoming. And Nevada, I assume, doesn't have much of a local following. Grab a friend, neighbor or co-worker and bring them to Ford Stadium so we can send the seniors out with one last HUGE cheer and watch the Ponies build their winning streak to close out the home season. Get an extra pair of tickets and find someone to make into a future PonyFan!

Go MUSTANGS!!

The BUS stop will be up and running this week. One slight change will be the menu. Burgers and dogs for the last game. Roll out the grill and fire it up.

Gotta get that two-in-a-row win so Mr. Mustang 1965 can return to the board!

Mrs. Corso might be joining me this week, along with two in-laws. And I've talked my boss and his wife into coming (of course, I'm buying his tickets). But that's two more that we'll have in the stands. Trying to get some others from work, too.

Get the word out, PonyFans! Start pounding the pavement! If need be, tighten up the budget a little and buy the tickets for friends -- bringing people to the most beautiful stadium anywhere on what's supposed to be a beautiful day .... a little tailgating, a Mustang victory, and bingo -- you've created more PonyFans! (Then you have to make them buy season tickets for next year!)

I come to Dallas for every home game, and this week is no exception.

I'm also trying to get out to El Paso for the UTEP game.

Come on, Ponies - 2 in a row!
See yall on The Boulevard.
