Simpson and Castro will be tough losses to absorb for next year. Simpson is a hybrid player so I dont think anyone replaces him directly. I think Ike will fill most of his minutes. I even think Devon Pearson can give us the rebounds that Simpson does now if he had to slide down. We would need a big guy like Rack or Bamba Fall to step up in the middle to make that work. And I've always thought Chris Reay could be a similar player to Castro.
Who knows what will happen, but looking out at next year you would have major minutes in the backcourt from Hopkins, Willingham, Roberts and maybe Killen if he plays defense like he did last night. In the frontcourt, I think you have Pearson, Ike, Rack and Chris Reay. I doubt Bamba Fall will be ready as a freshman, but he is playing against top high school competition everyday right now.
