5-3 is what we expected

Post by PonyPlayer4 »

Through the first 8 games of the season I would like to think most people on this board thought we would be 5-3. The wins and losses might be shuffled around a bit, but 5-3 after 8 games is what I expected. Problems need to be fixed before playing the last 1/3 of our schedule. I fully expect us to be 8-4 going in to our 3rd consecutive bowl game.

It's not that we lost, it's how horrible the O looked in losing. So Miss had a great D, but 40% completion vs Tulsa for a pass first team is scary

It's not about what our record is right now, it's our team overall is not playing

worth a crap, I thought those days of getting blown out were over, but I guess I was

wrong, I want my time and money back from yesterday because 10 hours on the road

is too long for a beating like that, no way am I going to coog land now!!!

Think I would have preferred to leave yesterday instead of this morning.

I'm an idiot I have expectations

Thirds

3-1
2-2
3-1

8-4

We knew the middle 4 was perhaps 1-3 at best, but we won the first 2. So our expectations were raised.

8-4 is imminently achievable and marks continued improvement.

Let's hold off on suicide watch for now.

Having said that, the last 2 games don't inspire confidence that 3-1 is in the cards, despite lowly navy rice and tulane.
