Umm, I guess you didn't know that Syracuse and Pitt have already been accepted to the ACC?

He was referring to the 27 month notification period. There were press releases about WVU in the big 12 next season, while it was said that Syracuse and Pitt had couldn't leave until 2013. I bet we will find out a bit more Tuesday, or whenever the Mizzou situation is finalized.

If Pitt and Syracuse have already said they would wait it out, I'm not sure they would follow WVU in jumping early. They could assume that the more schools that jump might make it more difficult for the Big East to prove their point. It's really a crap shoot.

I really can't believe how much of a mess this whole thing has become. It's amazing how much the BCS has really f'd up college football.
