Re: Tidbit of the Day
I hope this quells the "We need Kaiser" talk. Also, who thinks we may have Padron for another 2 years after he receives a medical redshirt for this year? I want some serious competition between Padron & CP next year and add Gilbert to the mix the year after that.
Re: Tidbit of the Day
what about that hot QB prospect for 2013 cant we just throw him in

Redshirt Printz. I think he will be a great one, but no one comes in and grasps the RnS that quickly...takes years. Ideally you want a Jr or Sr running this offense, and occasionally maybe a super soph.

Re: Tidbit of the Day
JJ needs to get out of the funk and practice agility drills so he can learn to scramble. Its the only way to break down these prepared defenses of the RnS. Padron needs to find a way to get the redshirt, hes been off ever since hes been injured. Im pretty sure he was injured last year because he went from doing well to sucking after get hit bad I believe in the TCU game. Yeah we can leave JJ in play Padron next year if possible then Garrett Gilbert after him if possible.
Re: Tidbit of the Day
PonyinNC is on to something regarding qb medical redshirts. Not to be suspicious but Garrett Gilbert at UT having an undiagnosed shoulder injury and surgery after being demoted after so little playing time and risking wasting an entire year of eligibility and now Kyle having a back injury after potentially wasting a year of eligibility and the injury is not related to playing (and you know how hard those back injuries are to show on an xray) and for him to not be anywhere in sight........ I sure hate for either of these QB's to catch the flak because I think they are both solid guys. Can't help if oline has been porous against smaller, quicker rushers and they get a little gunshy waiting for injured receivers who are slowed to get open. These are coaching issues, not qb issues. Step up to the plate coach!
