QB controversy....maybe, maybe not....they have had female kickers in college, whose to say Morgan Alexis Romo might not want to follow in her Daddy's footsteps? 
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

I was on the field (as a wannabe journalist with the Daily Campus) when he threw the Miracle on Mockingbird touchdown pass to Michael Bowen to beat Connecticut for SMU's first win in 1989, and have stayed in contact with him over the years.
