Saturday's Weather Forecast: PERFECT FOOTBALL WEATHER!!!

Postby Lamont_Cranston » Tue Nov 09, 2004 11:06 am

Weather Channel web page predicts no precipitation and a high of 59 degrees and a low of 39 degrees under partly cloudy skies for Saturday's game in Dallas! Break out those SMU sweaters, sweatshirts, windbreakers, etc! It's gonna be a BEAUTIFUL day for SMU's third win of the season!

it probably will be a beautiful day-unfortunately we have a genius scheduling a nite game(5:00) in November.

Which leaves a gorgeous afternoon for enjoying the Boulevard! Chowing down on the grill, a few beverages .... sounds like a perfect day to me.

Our "loyal" SMU fans will likely be persuaded to stay home if there is so much as a cool breeze.

I think we will be lucky to have 8,000 at the game on Saturday.

I think we'll have more than that. But it also speaks to why EVERY PonyFan needs to round up a couple people who otherwise might not be at the game and bring them along.

Being the last home game this season do we not expect a better turnout?

Keep in mind it is also 'band day', so that should bring a bunch of parents and such.

I received a literal handful of Nevada game tickets in exchange for the coupons that came with my 4 season tickets. I am proud to report that a young family of 5 (relocated Penn State fans) will be using some and 2 UT alum parents will be attending with their 4 children. I told the Nittany Lion fans that there is "no way" we will have 110,000 at the game... there's just not room.

Hold the phone, my friends...The Weather Channel is now calling for a chance of rain on Saturday evening...don't know whether that means during game time or afterwards. I'd hate for rain to be a factor in this game. I want the Mustangs to come out and play the HARDEST they've played all season!!!!
