I don't know why some people look down their noses at schools like USM and Tulsa! They have a better fan base and support than SMU and are quality teams, especially at home. Look at Tulsa....since we lucked out and beat them last year on a stupid 4th down play they made they have beaten every team they have played that is NOT ranked in the top 10 nationally including Notre Dame in South Bend. They were 5 points away from going 12-1 last year! they are well coached and recruit well. They had a favorable schedule before us while we were coming off three tough games in a row and banged up. they would beat most teams in the country in that situation.
smuuth- I do not believe that I was knocking either school in my comments. As I stated, if we had been up and ready to really play I believe that we could have won either game. JMHO.
