Daily reminder to embrace C-USA! Don't forget we have a C-USA game this weekend that we need to win in order to continue asserting our dominance in C-USA!
I agree. Besides we have proven we belong CUSA with the other schools in the conference. We are a middle rung CUSA team. Gotta walk before you can run. We haven't distanced ourselves in the slightest from Tulane, UAB, UTEP, Rice, etc. We just pay our coach a sh*t ton more than they pay theirs.
I don't enjoy it in the slightest. But we belong in CUSA. The fact that we are even in the conversation for an AQ conference is a real testament to Steve Orsini. Talk about putting lipstick on a pig. Programs like Tulsa, USM, ECU, Nevada, Fresno State, and Hawaii have much better and longer sustained success than SMU as a non AQ. Hell this year we are not even in the top 4 in CUSA.

We are much better suited to compete at a high C-USA level, including for playing championships, than are Tulane and Rice. We will be playing in our third consecutive post season bowl game this year for goodness sake. Be disappointed that we are being left out of conference expansion plans, but don't let it make you delirious.
Watched the Tulsa bloodletting at 1st and Ten. Beer was cold and cheese fries were good (although, did you steal the recipe from Stan's--they are identical). That's all I could stand because I went to Taste of Greenville Ave beforehand.
