I can understand USM, the others especially Memphis can keep quiet till they can stop getting beat 40+ every game they play. Tulsa got lucky with us because of the collapse at USM
Just want to say, from the bottom of my heart, to all the Mustang fans who never doubted my ability to get our fine university into an AQ conference, your welcome. The congratulatory emails are appreciated, as are all the calls that you have made to me. Now, let me go back to my preferred anonymous position as the power, behind the power, behind the power. Oh, one more thing before I vanish into the lore of Mustang history; Otter, SMT, Bongobimbo, and some others of our friends are providing free drinks tonight at Dutch's 1st & 10, at his Lakewood location from 5:30pm til 1:30am, in celebration of our invitation into the BE. Ask for a tall glass w/ rocks. H2O tastes better that way. Free water for everyone. WOOOHOO!!!
So very excited about this!!!!!!!!!! Being a UConn grad with a daughter at SMU, couldn't have worked out better. Really looking forward to attending games (of all sports) that are in easy driving distance. Also think it's a great opportunity for SMU to get amazing exposure to east coast potential students. Knowing the name now will hopefully gets kids to take a look. Really hard to not want to attend once you get on the amazing campus!! From a football perspective I am happier about this than I've been about the Big East for awhile.
I know i post a lot of worthless nonsense on here, but when it comes to football and telling you what my sources at the school tell me, i never post lies.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

how about from a Basketball perspective? this is HUGE for basketball. having all those teams visit Moody for hoops will get HS kids in DFW's attention. start becoming Mustang fans, and then follow the football team too. brand awareness is the key here.
