BE Weather vs. Our Offense

Post by Pony in SA »

Got some of the Rutgers/WV game replay with snow and cold winds and the announcers comments that it is difficult to pass and you need a running game. Assuming we go to the BE, if you look at potential game locations for the East division weather will be worse than what we have now. If good weather needed for RnS and we complain now about the wind in Tulsa effecting our offense, how will we do if playing in Connecticut and it is 40 degrees colder and snowing?

I think we will have to adjust our offense some. Even in West division if we play in Boise in November cold, wind and snow are likely.

The BE commish promised us that if we join he would see to it that our games are always played in perfect weather conditions. Not to worry. :)

average temps in Boise are the same as Connecticut for the football months. doesn't seem to affect the pass heavy offense that they run.

it's football. you deal with it.

give the ball to Zach Line, or his replacement, let our O-Line do their job and pound the ball up the middle.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

TCU could be playing in snow this weekend in lovely Laramie Wyoming. Note they have to go to Boise too. Final kiss-off by MWC to Frogs

Schedule most of the bad weather areas earlier in the year and places like USF, UCF, Houston, and Louisville later in the year IMO. Or at least try to.

Wasn't the run 'n shoot developed at Portland St., way up north?

I like many on this board have played in extreme cold and snow. The first few hits are tough, but after that you get used to it. It does give a slight advantage to the home team, but can certainly be overcome. The real key to the success of the R&S in cold, windy, terrible conditions is the same as in perfect condition- how good is your QB .

USC had the ND home game moved from late November to its present October date precisely because of the weather!

We could never win in the snow and ice!

I have a reliable source that indicated we have engaged Destro as a contractor on this.
