SMU HAS NO RESPECT

Haven't been following recruiting lately but it looks like the pitiful football situation has rubbed off on other athletic programs at SMU. Tubbs has proven he can recruit in the Dallas area but the best are heading away from Dallas.
Say what you want about the academic prowness of SMU as a recruiting tool, most of these high school athletes could care less. Studies show the elite high school athletes want to play for a coach that will give them a chance to go to the pros. They pick the coach not the school. When is the last time a SMU coach sent a good prospect to the pros. The few who have gone hang around for a couple of years and you never hear of them again.
The football program has no excuse for not showing improvement. Look at El Paso, Utah, Boise State, etc., etc., etc. If attending a school in Dallas can't beat these locations SMU should get out of the business.
