BOULEVARD

Post by jpe747 »

I'm inviting a friend to go with me to the game Saturday. I don't usually go on the boulevard mainly because I don't understand it. However, I want my friend to leave with a good understanding of SMU football. On the boulevard, I love the band music, etc. but I don't know where to eat, or where to go. I know some of the places are for grads of particular SMU schools. I played college football in Oklahoma and got a Masters at SMU. So, even though I have ties to SMU, I don't have close friends to ask these kinds of questions. So, excuse me if my question seems odd. However, I bet there are others like me that have similar questions, and hopefully, we can get more people in the stands and thus people enjoying the pregame on the boulevard.

Not much to understand besides enjoying the scenery and some beer. Even if you don't have a specific destination it's still fun to walk around. However, lots of ponyfans have been known to welcome people to their spots.

Ask for Kevin Knox. If he's not around, ask for Andrea Smith.

I'll bet it will be a great day to be on campus.

I would say please dont come to cox cause everyone whos not in cox goes and raids it. It pissed me off when opposing fans come and take the food and beer and theyre wearing their school's shirt. Im like how freaking dumb is our tent people. Thats why the law's school tent is legit, you have to actually be signed in through a computer so they never run out of food. You guys are all lucky Ill be stuck in class till 1230. Hopefully someone can post pictures of the parade on here. I already saw all the floats, but be cool to see them in action.

As long as the Ponies win, it will, indeed, be a great day to be on campus.
