Having our LB position BCS ready is very encouraging know that the LB is the foundation of having a dominant 3-4.

Devil's advocate here, and please that is all this is. I constantly hear that we should not pay as much attention to stars or speeds or other data on recruits, but rather the primary measuring stick is offers. This kid does not have impressive offers. What makes this a huge committment?

I think the excitement is because he has offers from BCS schools Arkansas and Arizona. We beat out Bobby Petrino.

Thanks. Certainly do not mean anything negative about the kid. Just missed the Arkansas offer and did not think Arizona and the others rated a "huge". Glad to have him on board.

I think its more because he is a dallas guy and texas top 100, which we haven't had in a long time...

Doesn't that make 3 texas top 100 with Neroes, Myers, and Richard. I'm not positive but wasn't Shak Randolph also on some lists?
