Agreed, but some of those places like Boston, Bar Harbor and Boothbay have damn good lobster.

I will be glad to assume anyone's lobster and other seafood dishes that they do not want. It has been many, many years ago but when living in upstate New York there would be trucks on the side of the road selling live lobsters just like we do watermelon down here. $3-$5 each and they were big lobsters. Also played in several local golf tournaments which served chowder and other seafood delights after your round. Man cannot live by beef alone. Well, he can but he does not have to.

Hey mrydel- glad somebody agrees with me. Love fresh lobster and chowder.
Here I can go to the beach and buy sea bass or tilapia for about $1.50 a lb. fresh off of the boat.
Sadly, no lobsters but I am really a beef person but enjoy seafood for a change of pace.
