A Couple of Reason To Get To The Stadium Early

1. Flyover
a. Guess the over and under on when the jets fly over on the last note of the National Anthem.
b. Does Peruna IX drag the handlers after the flyover?
c. See if the South End Zone gets napalmed (2002 reference).

2. The class of the Midshipmen - note how they stand at attention when the other schools alma mater is played.

Hopefully, I would look forward to seeing GWB out there with a flyover. Also what is the napalm thing in 2002, because I wasnt around then to know about it.

My Dad got me started on the pattern of going into the stadium early. He always likes watching warm ups to get a feel for the teams that day.

Right after Navy flyover, SMU shot off fireworks which caused a fire in the dead grass on the south end. Finally someone realized to turn on the water sprinklers after much smoke. So the saying was that Navy napalmed the South end zone.

It was in September, too, right? So the lawn was charred for a few more games till they replaced the sod. There were serious flames happening. Funny stuff.
