I wish I had an updated number on SMUs Endowment since last reported was 2009 at around 1.5 bn, and Tulsa is .65 or something. Is it sad that I had no idea that Tulsa university was religious school. That added some points to my respect. However KTP i will disagree, Big East so long as it keeps their basketball schools in order will remain a conference and if anything keep its BCS affiliation. Since they will probably lobby like most Northeasterners do, and will achieve to maintain a BCS. Im hoping the next time around if all the schools can stay ranked that we can get two spots or if they add another bowl to the mix.

Ive always been told Tulsa has a huge pile of money in its endowment. Where do you look these things up? Id be curious to know what it is.

Tulsa has around $691mil which is considerable given its size. Here is the pdf list of all schools. SMU really needs to step it up, the recession seems to have hits us hard and we are not bouncing back as quickly as we should.
