What about the fact some of these crimes took place in their athletic facilities?

Ticket also suggested a theory 2nd Mile was used as a player slush fund. A pretty good reason to keep Jerry's indiscretions on the hush for as long as possible.

That's purely conjecture, but the resulting investigations now that REAL investigators are involved (not NCAA hand slappers) will be interesting.

I do believe there is a bigger reason to try & keep this scumbag from being exposed.

Back in the late 70s it was a preseason tradition for about 3 Razorback players to rape a coed just before school started. Nothing ever happened. OU had Barry Switzer as Head coach and players were literally murderers and the NCAA did nothing. The NCAA isn’t an organization devoted to criminal activities. So I doubt the NCAA even looks into this.

This is a criminal activity that is and should be the State’s responsibility.

There is no allegation that Sandusky offered any of his victims to players or recruits which would be an NCAA issue (and even sicker than the current Sandusky story).

Penn State did the first right thing by firing Paterno. That’s a start. Hopefully all involved will be appropriately punished.

IF the ncaa doesn't the campus just might self-inflict themselves. Like I said, just watch and see <><>.

Sandusky guaranteed one of the kids a walk-on spot on the football team. does that qualify?
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

If rumors of this slush fund and pimping practices are true, I can see the DP finally being administered again.

They will do everything to avoid giving the death penalty again. I don't know why people fall for 777's posts.

You saying Penn St will receive the Death Penalty within a year is no where near a fact..... It is your speculation.

State Penn's survival or demise is beyond the NCAA's ability to control.. Penn State is DEAD..... and I think it will be a long, long time before the wise guys see a star in the east.

I read a couple of posts, alumni removing them from their wills and contributions. Taking their sheepskins off the wall. Imagine putting Penn State on your job application and dealing with the interviewer when he looks up and evaluates you. Do you think he would want to associate the company and Penn State?
