Danny White?

Has his name ever come up in connection with the SMU job? You have a guy who has been a head coach and GM of the Arizona Rattlers in the Arena league and as a coach there he has near to a .700 winning record.
As a former cowboy, he could create some excitment with the local media and with players in the DFW area. Since serving has a GM with the Rattlers, he has a better sense how to market a football team to a general public that is not interested, and I bet the could teach Romo to become the punter as well. He was a finalist for the ASU job a few years ago before Cutter got the job.

What is all this coach garbage today? - Bennett has the job and will have it through next yr minimum. next question

non-sense talk

i agree.....with Coach Bennett winning two in a row.....any talk of a coaching change is now mute.....Bennett has job security for at least another year......come on the guy has just won two games.....that kind of talk is hurtful to the program at this juncture.......Go Ponies!

The only name "connected" to the SMU job is Phil Bennett.
