Suggestions for drop off today.........

Post by ponywhupp9202 »

I am bringing my 91 yr old Granddad and WWII veteran to the game today. He is not in a wheel chair, we do not have a handicap tag, but I need to drop him off as close to the stadium as possible, preferably on the side between the stadium and practice field. I do not have a parking pass and normally park in the neighborhood south of Mockingbird. Any suggestions?

If he is able to stand by himself then you can literally drop him off right in front of the East side of the stadium or at the Doak Walker statute by turning off Mockingbird and driving North on Airline. There is a parking lot right there but it is permit only-hopefully they would assist you and allow you to both walk from that lot-but I don't know for sure. It would be a relatively short walk-maybe 150-200 yards to West Home side. I used to park at the Museum on the West side but not sure of how they handle parking directions over there now-that would be even closer

Ok, thanks. I think I will try to shoot that gap by the museum as my first option and keep your idea as plan B. Appreciate it.
