This thread seems more relevant now. I have said since the day he was hired that he would make us better but never get us to where TCU is. His offense will never be able to compete consistently with good football teams, with the talent that SMU can recruit. Two or three years from now, it would be better if JJ moves on and we get a really good coach, unless he changes his philosophy offensively, which is not likely.
