Which conference has more teams ranked in the top 25, C-USA or Big East? Cincinnati lost and will probably drop out. USM and Houston both won. Big East could finish the season without a ranked team. C-USA also has more teams that are bowl eligible. How ya like them apples?

Yeah I pointed that out yesterday-but don't look which conference will have more Top 10 teams-the Big 10 or CUSA.

Yep, I've always been of the opinion that we stay in CUSA for 2-3+ more years and dominate it and then see where we're at once that's attracted several years straight of top talent (all I care about is the wins and losses right now as we turn it around).

Yes, dominate it. 2-3 more #1 recruiting classes and we will dominate it. UCF is on downward swing, this will be UH's best season for a while (stud QB in his 6 yr and easiest schedule on the planet), USM's string of top recruiting classes ends and they are all starting to graduate ... the next closest team is Tulsa ... or do you think we go 8-5-ish consistently and bowl games playing in the Big 12? Do you know the exact terms we're being offered to join the Big Least? What teams will be in the Big Least? Are you SURE it will be an AQ conference? Who the F wants to go play Cincinnati and Connecticut and Rutgers (especially this time of year)?? Not really a step up IMHO. SMU is not hurting for money the last time I checked ... I know I'm very much in the minority but I have no interest whatsoever in joining the "BE" right now ... just my opinion ...

well not only is it the minority opinion - But it is the wrong opinion. I do know the terms - and they are somewhere in the neighborhood of 10M better then where we are. That is the equivelent of a 200M endowment gift.

The new BE will be waaaaay better then the current CUSA - so that if you do well it will actually mean something instead of just be a padding to a week resume.

BE is a huge step up - its not even debateable.

Hope our coaches can respond and move up their game cause they have laid a few eggs this year that are not very encouraging. We have been poorly prepared and play calling and game clock managment have been bad. We deserve better for what we are paying.
