John Thompson, of the East Carolina Pirates, has been fired as of this morning.

Just passing on some CUSA news

This was only his 2nd year as a coach at ECU

2 years at ECU. How many at SMU?

Apparently state schools can have football troubles too. Looks like ECu is getting ready for the newly constituted CUSA in 2005. There could be a lesson in this for other schools.
