Given the remaining schedule the most that could still qualify is 3 and tje minimum is 0.!
ECU 4-6 plays UCF and Marshall
Marshall 4-6 also plays Memphis
UCF 4-6 also plays UTEP
UTEP 5-5 also plays Tulsa
To get to 3 more UTEP must beat Tulsa, so probably no more than 2

It is likely to be 1 or 2 as 0 requires Marshall to lose to Memphis.

Sorry but I don't follow what you are trying to say. CUSA already has 4 teams that are bowl eligible- USM, cougar high, tulsa and SMU. GO PONIES!!!

Here's an interesting analysis on eligible bowl teams and those on the bubble. He predicts 75 teams for what I think 70 spots. Still though some of the probability % he assigns to some teams seem a little optimistic

I am so glad SMU's loss moved Navy from 34% to now predicted 60% odds of making a bowl game.

With seven bowl tie-ins CUSA will probably not fill them all.

CUSA East is just awful this year.
Trey was using the powers of Gamehendge to allow the show to continue, to give the band the strength it needed to help break through this barrier

#1 The Liberty Bowl #2 The Hawaiʻi Bowl #3 The Armed Forces Bowl #4 The Beef 'O' Bradys Bowl #5 The New Orleans Bowl #6 The TicketCity Bowl #7 The Military Bowl (backfill for Navy if not eligible) Right now UH could go BCS, so So Miss in Liberty? SMU in Hawaii? Tulsa in Armed Forces? Then what....hrm. Will be interesting to see.

Banner year for the Sun Belt I guess. My take Tulsa wins CUSA > Liberty, Loses to Cougar > Ticket City, Loses to Southern Miss > Hawaii Cougar wins out Fiesta, loses to Tulsa > Ticket City, Beats Tulsa loses to Southern Miss > Hawaii S. Miss wins CUSA > Liberty, Loses Championship Game > Hawaii/Beef of Brady Pony Armed Forces Bowl Marshall (I think they have the best shot at 6-6) > Military UCF > NOLA

I believe SMU isn't going to the Hawaii bowl if Hawaii doesn't win two more games. I believe they'll go to the Ticket City Bowl in here Dallas..
