Turnover ratio through 10 games -- (- 11)

Post by Mitch McConnell »

SMU QBs have thrown 24 INTs and and lost 8 other fumbles (17 total fumbles)

SMU has collected 4 INTs and recovered 9 of 22 opponent fumbles.

You just really can't be a consistent football team doing that. We were -9 last year?

SMU QBs have thrown 16 INTs not 24.

Whoops. I added the INTs and the fumbles lost together. But the point doesn't change.

Also, I think it's fair to point out that after the UTEP game, there was a near consensus that this team was going to have QB problems throughout the season. So what we are seeing really shouldn't surprise us.

I think we got a little excited after the TCU game thinking that McDermott was the answer when that didn't turn out to be the case.
