NO GRIT ALL QUIT
Enough Said..The team has no pride,Coach has lost control of the team...Yes this is my first post but i feel obligated to say something after what i heard coming from my fellow fans in section 104..If you were at the game you would have seen the careless attitude of the team and coaches....

Re: NO GRIT ALL QUIT
we're not all homers. we all see what's going on with the team here.
we can see where there should have been improvements in JJ's game plan. we can see that there are problems with this team that need to be addressed if we hope to move forward.
but to say that this team is a bunch of quitters with no pride? gimme a [deleted] break.

I did have to wonder when two seniors, Kelly Turner and Taylor Thompson, managed to pick up late hit penalties that hurt their team. Thompson actually got in one more that wasn't called.
Also, in both cases I watched the respective player when he came off the field to see if any coach would seek him out to point out "hey you just hurt us by being so selfish." Did not happen.

Re: NO GRIT ALL QUIT
If you saw the team's faces going into half-time only one TD down, getting the ball back, I fault no one coming away with that impression. No disappointment, no anger, no excitement, no rally...zombie-like. It really is a head-scratcher send very concerning.

Team full of eeyores

no accountability, certainly a head scratcher. No change of emotions.

All Grit No Quit-
Just receive a photo from a friend who has a tent on the 'Vard. He knew I couldn't attend this past weekend but, sent a photo showing some of our old aquaintances. None of them ever quit and they had grit: Danny Browning, Corky Hall, Jim Farris, Steve Morton, Billy Wood, Gary Hammond, Louie Kelcher, Rory Best.

Well, if this team quits on Saturday against UH it will certainly show up on the scoreboard. Fear is a great motivator...

If we quit this Saturday, it will be a repeat of the 1989 game. I hope we don't hear that damn siren all night again!
Re: NO GRIT ALL QUIT
Congrats on bowl eligibility but there were higher expectations for this senior-laden team with some quality underclassmen..especially after TCU! Maybe there are some injuries or some problems with the type of players, talented athletes with bad off field or lazy attitudes hurt team chemistry. that is why I think we get beat by less talented service academies who are "team" oriented and if you aren't into taking care of business and being a good teammate then you are off the team rather than being commended in twitter posts from one of the assistants. Have to hand it to Patterson at TCU. They could have rolled over in Boise and lost so the conference would collect a $14,000,000 payday..no telling how much TCU lost in revenue by winning and barely improved bowl they were going to. Will June go all out to beat Houston knowing a win would cost CUSA and SMU millions by Houston losing BCS bowl opportunity? That is the difference in atitudes, happy with mediocrity or proud and try to win even if it is a ping pong match!
