[quote="skyscraper"]Interesting someone is acknowledging what we've suspected...there's some type of internal matters going on in the locker room.[quote]

Three events that sum up this season:
1. Walk on writes letter saying that fans/studets don't deserve this team.
2. After Tulsa game, players run off field without singing Varsity with Band
3. Report that player curses students at end of Navy game when the students leave at the end of the game.

Allegedly, at the end of the Navy game, the team came over to stand for Varsity and the students started to leave, one of the players yelled at the students, "where the (expletive) are you going!"
Re: Taylor Reed sums it up
Sounds like the team is POd at the SMU community for the perceived lack of support.
Hard to argue that we have mostly terrible "fans", but I would hope that the players have enough pride to play for themselves and the not insignificant group that is always there for them.
I'm beyond disappointed in the whole situation...fans, greater community, players, and especially coaches if that is the case.
I hope I'm wrong. I think couch'em is onto something, though....I think JJ is tired of the weak support and is planning to move on anyway.

Well on behalf of the SMU community allow me to say we're po'd at the softness of late. Costs the team members zero to travel to usm and Tulsa for instance and [deleted] down their collective leg. Appreciate your target audience, embrace and engage them one at a time...don't create a bigger chism than was already in existence

Sure didn't affect them vs UCF (worst draw of the year). JJ isn't going anywhere at $2M a year for now. Especially with BE stuff. They are probably disappointed in the fans of course.
They should be playing for each other.
As for a player yelling at students, big freakin deal.

I don't disagree with either of you on the attitude thing, but not sure about JJ. Call it a gut feeling.

There is still much friction between RGT and JJ. It's old money (Bush Library) v. Circle of Champions. Admissions & "chaning the culture" are still big sore spots.

But then we wouldn't have timeouts left to talk things over on random 2nd & 4 situations with 8:30 left in the 3rd quarter.

UCLA looks like it won't be open anymore. They may be in the PAC-12 Championship game.

Just have to beat USC or have ASU tank another one against Arizona or Cal.
Re: Taylor Reed sums it up
why has NO one talked about Padron being benched for missing the flight to A&M?
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Maybe so but.....RGT is a catalyst for the Big East and has spent a lot of time on this.
