SMU Kickoffs

Call me an old guy, but I love to hear the MUSTANG BAND play at kickoffs. Now, at Ford Stadium, while the band plays so does some funky music over the stadium speakers. Leave the band its time to play without such interruptions. Go Mustangs - beat Houston!

Quite a statement on your third post. Expect some of our band guys to come down on you if they see this.

I actually agree with jpe. Seems like all the college, and even pros play the same canned music. I would prefer the band. Our band is unique let's use it.

OH gosh band guys! But seriously its not really the bands fault.

Our Band director sucks, the half-time choreography sucks, and the band only plays our fight songs which sound horrible. Nothing says mediocre to horrible football like "Peruna". For the rest of my life that song will be associated with the [deleted] football I have EVER seen. Plus its to the tune of "Coming Around the Mountain" for christ's sake.
