Josh McCown benched today

there's another thread about the merits of Josh McCown with people giving him props for being starting QB in the NFL and Denny Green. Well, today he's not a starting QB in the NFL. still in his favor is the fact that his replacement is Shawn King... and maybe Green is using this to motivate Josh to improve? I'll be watching what happens with the Cards in Carolina today

Dennis Green better not hurt Lit' McClown's feewings or he'll transfer to Sam Houston St and become the greatest Quarterback in Division 1-AA History. How in the hell can you start 9 games in the NFL and have only 6 TDs?

Well, having one NFL receiver (Fitzgerald) for most of those games and a suspect offensive line are one reason. And there's also the fact that this is what, his second year? Third year? Remember how good Vinny T was in his early years in Tampa? What about Hasselbeck (the one in Seattle)? Hell, folks wanted to run Drew Brees out of the league after a couple of years, and now he's headed to the Pro Bowl. The Byron Leftwiches and Ben Rothlisbergers of the world are the exceptions, not the rule. No, McCown isn't there, but I swear, he must have taken your parking space or something. Your vendetta against him is unreal.

Maybe he'll go FA to Dallas. Ooops Parcells might not be the loving caring type coach that would help Josh through a few bad games. There's always the arena league. He could be a star in that league and get paid $200/game or so.

..Gary Hammond had breakfast this morning...I heard David Stanley had a cup of Joe this a.m.....Did you know Coach Malin took a big nasty shi* today....somebody said Steve Reindl slept in a bed last night....who gives a rats backside what Josh McCown did or didn't do??!!#$@!?
