San Jose St. Handled Navy

Post by Pony in SA »

That's right...San Jose State. The team often referred to as one the worse in College Football along with New Mexico. Somehow their coaches with less talent than we supposedly have beat Navy, something we can't accomplish.

Actually watched some of this on the college package we have and it wasn't even as close as the final score. Really makes me more disappointed about last week.

By the way, as bad as San Jose is again they did beat Colorado State this year so it shows you the quality of the team TCU beat today.

No it's believable. We have an antiquated offense and THE WORST QB IN AMERICA.
Back off Warchild seriously.

I think San Jose was the place where the lights went out at the stadium and we didn't finish the game when we were in the WAC, but maybe wrong. [deleted] Tomey may have been their coach then, or hired right after that, but I remember we didn't make up or finish the game because neither team thought it was worth it.

Embarrased they beat Navy and we couldn't get it done.

Yeah, first year coach got it done out there, pullin' down 400Gs per. Hasn't changed out the lights either.

San Jose qb is Matt Faulkner from Flower Mound. His parents are good friends of mine, and it was Matt's dream to play at SMU, his grandparents and parents are SMU people. Matt went to the SMU summer camp when Bennett was here, SMU didn't offer. Matt found a way to score 27 on Navy and win, something SMU just can't do.

Is Flower Mound where former QB Chris Sanders was from ? Crazy we don't have better QB play and several of them nearby that could help.

I think the majority of local 5A schools and a good percentage of 4A have better QB play than we do.

San Jose State also beat Hawaii, the team our coaches have had their fingers crossed all season will get to 6 wins this week against Tulane so we can play them in Hawaii Bowl this year. Personally, I think I would just rather play San Jose State in any bowl because they are a better team than Hawaii.

Six wins doesn't do it for Hawaii. They play 13 games so they have to win over Tulane and BYU the following week.
