Look at his tenure at Hawaii. They weren't ranked until years 8 & 9. Now, I don't think it will take that long here because it's much easier to recruit to SMU, But, who are we to expect ten win seasons and wins over #11 team in the country right now? Be thankful for what we have, geez

Where was TCU ranked when we beat them?

Sumlin led UH to a 5-7 record last season without Case. June has led SMU to 7 wins the past two seasons and likely this season as well with different starting Qb's each season so at least we know that June has a stable baseline for plug and play. We just need a Case Keenum type of QB to get that thrilling season. It will come, be patient.

Hey, it's not your $400k from the CofC so far. June has done a great turnaround. However, probably not be the guy to get us to where we would like. You can probably spend $1.2 / $1.3M or so when the time comes.

what do you mean by this? CoC consists of 20 individuals (or groups that pool) who pony up $100,000 EACH. per year. that's $2,000,000 per year from them.

If June installed the Kaiser at the helm of our offense, he'd be worth every penny of the $2 Mil.
