Oh now come on MrMustang1965, you're much to big a person to go there.
And Dr. Phil? Hey! He has caught lightning in a bottle! You have to at least give him credit for that. He and his wife used to attend Mean Green basketball games back in the 70's when I was a student. He spoke of those days in recent feature article I read. Of course, those were the day we had Hayden Fry as AD/Head FB Coach and Bill Blakely as the main man for varsity BB.

MGG is bound and determined to have the last say...so let him have it and then let this thread go quietly away into the appropriate land of obscurity.

Well said, feelan.
And if Oprah's Stooge was the most big-time alum my school had ever produced, I think I'd start claiming to be a high school dropout.

Doak Walker finalists whittled down to three……and Jamario Thomas is still not on the list.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Did anyone see the clips on the Daily Show from Dr. Phil's interviews with Bush and Kerry? It was hilarious, they kept replaying parts of the interviews where he asked both candidates if they were spankers, if they spanked their kids alot. The initial facial reaction from the candidates was classic, they both had these "huh? Why the hell are you asking that?" looks.
The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?
Good, Bad...I'm the one with the gun.

Coincidentally, THIS JUST IN, TOO: Texas Sports Fan's Public Opinion Poll of Favorite Texas Colleges and Universities Who Have Above .500 Football Seasons & Go To Bowl Games Annually AND..................smu is (amazingly) not on this list.
Of the 2 aforementioned list, which one do you really think Super Jamario Thomas, his Mean Green teammates and all North Texas Exes would really prefer?
While your most objective and totally above reproach SMU Forum (pleezzzzz) are selecting the Doak Walker Award winner UNT fans will be in the Big Easy throwing Mardi Gras beads on Bourbon Street and getting (only) our 8'th game of the season televised--this one our 2'nd on national television.
& Merry Christmas to All and to All----Good Day!

It dawns on me you've never adequately explained your inferiority complex and particularly why you think UNT needs SMU's help getting into a better conference. So why have you lost all loyalty and faith in your program's merits and accordingly blame Gerald Turner for UNT's snub by C-USA?
