Let's stay home. No go Bowl bid
The way SMU is playing now it might be better to stay home than go to a bowl game and be embarassed again on national TV.

Then stay home and don't go to the bowl game. Problem fixed.

No, accept the bid and the extra month of practice that goes along with it.

Seriously, this is such a loser's mentality to wanna refuse a bowl bid. And it seems to be slowly spreading to a minority of posters on the board.
I'm just as frustrated as everyone else at our [deleted] poor offense.
But to turn around and say we should refuse a bowl bid is just ridiculous.

If McDermot is going to be the QB I agree with Sam. The extra
month of practice is not worth the utter embarassment.

Doesn't look like the extra practice time last December really helped out too much for this season.........

If you are embarrassed by this team it is clear you are a fan who has been spoiled by success in the June jones era.
It could be and has been a lot worse. So, stick around and enjoy the highs and lows, or put your whorens back on and join the sheep.

We should go to a bowl game...ANY BOWL GAME. For those who don't know...there are benefits to playing in a bowl, like money, TV audience, extra work, excitement and adventure for the team. It goes on and on. A rule for football teams should be - go to a bowl.
