Re: Bowl Projections
SMU vs Purdue would be gut wrenching for Dr. J. Baker.
Re: Bowl Projections
SMU v. Purdue would be the lowest attended bowl game this year.

Re: Bowl Projections
Rice beat Purdue near the beginning of the season. If (when) we beat Rice it could be a good indicator that we could beat Purdue. Point taken about T.C. turnout, but I believe its payout is better than the AFB.

Payouts do not matter. CUSA pays the expenses for the bowl team and the proceeds are divided equally among the teams.

In the Band Department. Purdue says their bass drum is bigger than UT's Big Bertha.
(Had to post that one for the lover of bands [and you know who you are])

Actually that is not quit true. Hawaii, the school has to pay for most of the entourage. That's why they had to get private donors to send the M Band, cheerleaders, and Peruna last year. It cost a severe chunk of change to do that.

I am sure that there is a limit on expenses. If not the school could have paid for all ponyfans.com posters to go on the trip.

Actually that would be quite cheap as there are only 5 of us that post on here. We just use different monikers.

Re: Bowl Projections
the conference isn't going to pay for 4 mascots, a band, fans, etc. to go. they can't commit to sending a band b/c our band may have 50 people, and USM may have 80. that's a big diff in $
